BELIZEAN SEASON ALL – THE HEART OF BELIZEAN COOKING
Made from the seed of achiote tree, annatto seed is made into this rich red sauce. It is a necessary component of Belize’s national dish, stew chicken, usually served with rice and beans. The seeds from the achiote tree are called annatto.

Belizean Stew Chicken Recipe
One chicken, whole or cut up
Cup of chicken stock
2 TBSP chopped Onion or more to taste
2 TBSP Belizean Season All
1 TBSP Black Pepper
Cut up and pepper the chicken well and brown it in some oil. Take out the pieces and brown the onion. Add chicken back to the pan, add the broth & bring to a boil. Add Belizean Season All & cook chicken over low heat until it’s starting to fall off the bones. Serve with red beans and rice or coconut rice, and ice cold Belikin Beer on the side.
